Start or join a FirmRix Desk sit
Meet is the public door to FirmRix Desk. Hosts sign in to create Instant Sit or Sit Later rooms and copy a sit link. Guests open the link, enter a name if needed, and join audio-first presence. Signed-in participants keep their FirmRix identity. Use this page to start; use /firmrix-desk to learn the product story.
Instant Sit now, Sit Later with date and duration, or paste a sit link to join. Hosts use a free FirmRix account; guests need only the URL.
Instant Sit
Create a live Desk immediately, copy the sit link, and invite participants. Best when the work is already open and you need to decide now. Hosts stay in the FirmRix OS or on the Meet page while guests open the URL in any modern browser.
Sit Later
Pick date, time and duration. Copy the scheduled sit link and add it to Google Calendar with the link in the event details. Guests who arrive early see a lobby until the sit opens, so nobody lands in a dead room by accident.
Join with a link
Paste a sit link you received. If you are signed in, you join as yourself. If not, join as a guest with a display name. Invalid or ended links show a clear message — not a blank error or a generic API 404 page.
Who can host
Creating Instant Sit or Sit Later requires a free FirmRix account. Guests never need an account to join a valid open sit link. Capacity and rate limits protect rooms from abuse while keeping legitimate joins frictionless.

Audio-first presence
Desk starts with microphone on and camera off. Screen share stages the shared window for review. It is a huddle of up to four seats — not a webinar product. Vertical labels in the OS still say Review Desk, Chambers, Chair or Consult Room.
