Public booking without a second system
Guests should not create accounts to book a cut. FirmRix Salon Management publishes a public booking page at /book/{slug}. Appointments arrive on the same floor and POS the staff already run.
Name and phone
Friction kills bookings. Guests enter what the desk needs to recognize them. Optional deals can sit beside the form without turning the page into a marketplace of unrelated services.
Same floor spine
Booked appointments join the same statuses as walk-ins: checked in, in service, completed. No-shows are counted. The Lobby TV can show who is being served as physical proof the software is live.
Not a generic widget
A booking iframe that never talks to POS and inventory leaves retail and membership out of the story. FirmRix keeps services, retail and stock in one OS.
Network discovery
Salons can also appear on the FirmRix directory and marketplace. The booking page is for conversion once someone chooses you; discovery can start on /firms or /marketplace.

- Do guests need FirmRix accounts?
- No. Public booking is name and phone. Staff accounts run the OS.
- Can I use Desk on a booking?
- Desk is for sitting on work with staff or invited guests. Day-to-day guest booking does not require Desk.
- Is this clinic booking?
- Clinic OS has its own public booking for patients. Salon booking is beauty/wellness — separate product scope.
